Ready to feel empowered about music? Get started with piano or voice lessons at Songbyrd Studios in Eagle Mountain, Utah or internationally via Zoom.

  • $70/hr, which breaks down to $35 for a 30-minute lesson or $53 for a 45-minute lesson.

  • Students are billed on the 1st of each month for that month’s lessons. Their credit card on file is charged automatically, using a secure payment processor called Stripe.

If a student knows they’ll be out of town one week, they simply let me know before the 1st of the month and I remove that lesson from our calendar so they’re not billed for it.

  • I’ve been studying music most of my life! In 2021, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Snow College, with an emphasis in piano and vocal performance. I’ve been happily teaching ever since - about five years now!

I’m also a singer-songwriter; I love to write and perform my own music.

  • Yes! Recitals give students something to work toward and a chance to showcase their progress. We hold two recitals per year. Smaller accomplishments like passing off a song or hitting a practice goal are celebrated with treats and prizes along the way!

  • A series called Faber Piano Adventures is used for piano lessons. Once a student completes the Faber series, we move on to classical and contemporary repertoire.

The Kenneth H. Phillips Technique Curriculum is used for voice lessons, accompanied by songs of the student’s choosing.

  • The Student Portal is where students and parents go to view or reschedule upcoming lessons, log practice time, join virtual lessons, view lesson notes, and download online resources. It can be accessed here, or at the top of this page, under Songbyrd Studios.

  • All cancelling and rescheduling is done through the Student Portal, for your convenience. If at least 24 hours notice is provided, a cancelled lesson is converted to a make-up credit which can be used within 30 days to schedule a make-up lesson. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, cancelled lessons are not rescheduled or refunded.

  • We use a video conferencing platform called Rock Out Loud Live, made especially for music lessons. All that’s required on the student’s end is a laptop running Google Chrome and headphones.
